They get better job prospects.
Completion of 2 years course will entitle for a 3 years Open work permit to the student and all their dependents (as applicable).
Completion of 1 year of course will entitle for a 1 year Open work permit to the student and any dependents (as applicable).

All dependents are allowed to apply for an Open work or Study Permit from day 1 of admission and Open Work permit after completion of studies.

Shared accommodation in is 1500-2000$/month
All other Provinces
Shared accommodation in is 1000-1200$/month

Legally, a student is allowed to work 20hrs/week during semester in any province. During Holidays and between semester and long vacations students are allowed to work legally up to 40 hours.
Average wage is $15/hr

Most colleges take 1 year tuition at the time of issuing an acceptance letter. And in second year some colleges take full second year fees whereas others take fees by semester.

Student funds statement requirement for CAQ is Complete course fee in someone’s bank account for recent 6 Months.

One year Tuition Fees (15000-20000 CAD)
10000 CAD for GIC (Guaranteed Investment Certificate). GIC money can be used towards living expenses and or tuition for next/future semesters.
Miscellaneous ~500 CAD.

All above fees will be directly paid by the student to the college/government.

Most colleges refund full tuition fee upon Visa denial, Some colleges charge an administrative fee of 200-300 CAD. Details will be shared in the Withdrawal/Refund policy document when the application is filled.

Academic IELTS (Fluency in English) within the last 24 months. Following varies by college and course.
